Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. If you are one who believes that being a hypocrite is okay...

...then you need to read God's perspective on that.
First, the dictionary definition of "hypocrite" is this:
- one who pretends to be something he is not, a feigning to be what one is not, or to feel what one does not feel; a dissimulation, or a concealment of one's real character, disposition, or motives; especially, the assuming of false appearance of virtue or religion; a simulation of goodness,
- a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess,
- a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he or she does not hold in order to conceal his or her real feelings or motives,
- one who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not; a dissembler in religion. Our Lord severely rebuked the scribes and Pharisees for their hypocrisy (Matthew 6:2, 5, 16). "The hypocrite's hope shall perish" (Job 8:13). The Hebrew word here rendered "hypocrite" rather means the "godless" or "profane," as it is rendered in Jeremiah 23:11, i.e., polluted with crimes,
- a pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude,
- an expression of agreement that is not supported by real conviction,
- the refusal to "...apply to ourselves the same standards we apply to others"

He also shall be my salvation, for a hypocrite shall not come before Him.

For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

Upright men shall be astonished at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.

...that the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
Job 27:8:
For what is the hope of the hypocrite though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
Job 34:30:
...that the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
Job 36:13:
"But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath; they cry not when He bindeth them.
Psalm 26:4:
I do not sit with deceitful men, nor do I consort with hypocrites...

With hypocritical mockers at feasts they gnashed their teeth against me.
Proverbs 11:9:
A hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbor, but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
Isaiah 9:17:
Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows; for every one is a hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Isaiah 10:6:
I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against the people of My wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites: "Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?"

1 Timothy 4 (NIV):
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
