The ACLU claims to be an advocate for "individual rights,...neither liberal nor conservative, Republican nor Democratic" Umm, how can that be true? They claim that their organization was formed in 1920 by a man named Roger Nash Baldwin, an admitted and known communist (like the others who joined him in his efforts), who believed that our civil liberties in this great nation of the United States of America was "in a sorry state"? What? Hey, the ACLU is full of hypocrits! They oppose most of what they say they stand for. Read it for yourself... [There used to be a great brief history of the ACLU here but I seriously regret that I never made a copy of the information and now the ACLU has removed the TRUTHS about their communist roots from their own website!!!]
Half way through the page they point out some of the cases they have fought for which are all against patriotism or American loyalty, God, decency, freedom of speech and expression, the right to life, and so forth. The ACLU fights for "Constitutional rights for homosexuals, the poor, prisoners, mental patients, and other special groups..." Excuse me, but since when did prisoners have rights? That's why they are prisoners! Or mental patients? In the eyes of the ACLU all special 'agendized' groups (homosexuals, people with black skin, communists, socialist, criminals) deserve special rights and then deserve special rights above and beyond others like christians and/or moral and decent citizens. How is that fair and equal treatment? That is not even constitutional.
Hey, sir, Mr. Baldwin...America was not supposed to be a democracy! America was never supposed to be about criminals or queers or any special group screaming and demanding special rights. America, sir, was supposed to be about capitalism where it was believed that a smaller government was all that was needed and that the people were intelligent enough to make their own decisions, earn their own living and live their own lives without government interference. It was only the federal governments place to uphold the laws of the constitution, not to re-write it or to favor any person above another.
