What would John Kerry do if he were elected? What laws would he pass? What would he do to your constitutional freedoms?
Those who oppose our President George Bush call him a "war monger" among other names. They never use his voting record or his beliefs to cut him down, they use their opinion of his character. Sorry to break it to you, character doesn't get things done, votes do.
So for arguments sake let's overlook the fact that Saddam Hussein signed a contract allowing weapons inspectors the right to come in (Resolution 1441, 2002) and when asked to several times, did not, therefore breaking his contract. Or the fact that Time Magazine did an in-depth article on how his sons raped a 12 year old girl and her teenage sister for days while the parents were threatened with death if they interfered. And let's also forget about the thousands of men, woman and children whom he gassed and murdered because they opposed his mock "democracy."
Let's overlook all that stuff about George Bush and the war in Iraq and let's just focus our attention on his opponent, John Kerry. Let's just look at Kerry, how he thinks, how he votes, his political views and his religious views.
John Kerry thinks it's ok to kill babies. John Kerry said during the second debate that he would use federal money to fund abortions. John Kerry and many other misguided "christians" believe that you can personally believe abortion is wrong but at the same time believe that women still have the "right" to murder their own child. It doesn't matter what reason you have - if it's rape, incest, drunken stupidity, or even possibility of the mother's death, it doesn't matter.
That child has every right to live as you or I. Who are you to decide who dies? Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." (John 14:13). Not to mention the fact that God "formed us in the womb" (Isaiah 44:2 & 4 and others) and we are not our own. If Jesus was willing to give His life in the hope we would live, how much more should a mother take the chance of losing her life for her child if need be?
John Kerry will vote for whatever he thinks will get him elected that is why he is "for" and "against" abortion. Sort of like how he voted "for" the war in Iraq and is now "against" it and "for" it. I'll go more in depth into this subject (abortion) in the next few months, but for right now go to www.churchofquestion.com and click on the abortion photos link and then tell me abortion is a choice and not murder.
John Kerry will vote to allow gay marriages. Why is another individual's sexual preference any of my business? It's not. Sexual preference is not the point. Gay people can be as gay as they want. I know you hear different pastors and speakers listing a number of different reasons for not allowing gay marriage ranging from reason like "because God says so" to "it will break down the family." Now these are true but these are not my concerns. The world will always go against God's will and the devil constantly tries to break down the family via porn, drinking, sex, etc. My concern is that if and when homosexuality becomes a civil issue it instantly makes anyone who disagrees with it a bigot and makes our Bible a hate book.
You may be thinking "that will never happen." Well, Canada has already passed "hate laws" that protect homosexuals from being discriminated against. The legal jargon is so vague that even saying you disagree with homosexuality is considered a crime. If homosexual marriage is made legal, every single good Christian church would either be shut down from law suits or have to quit doing marriages completely.
Making gay marriage a civil issue would equate it with that of the civil rights movement. If an interracial couple walked into a church and asked to be married and the church said that they do not marry interracial couples they would have a legal right to sue that church and they should. But if gay marriage is made legal then every Bible-believing church would deny gays the right to marry, therefore infringing upon their rights.
John Kerry voted last month to make it a "hate crime" to disagree with homosexuality. So much for our freedom of speech. Again I will discuss this more in the next few months.
And finally....John Kerry will try to take away every gun you own. Some people, even Christians, think that a world without guns would be a better place. Well if this is you, let me remind you that without guns we would be British, Hitler would have taken over the world, and Saddam would still be killing people by the thousands. A world without guns is an unreachable goal. As long as there are people, people will kill each other. And if you honestly believe making guns illegal would stop crime then look at Great Britain. America's First Freedom magazine did an article on Britain and how they outlawed all guns across the board and their gun crime rate went up by more than double! Yes I said, GUN CRIME RATE. Felons who can't have guns and commit the majority of gun crime are not going to register their guns, nor will they hand their guns over. That's why they are felons; they don't care about the law. Taking away the rights of law-abiding Americans will not stop crime, it will only increase it.
Well so what? Why do I think John Kerry, who says he is an avid hunter, would take away our guns? Well let's look at his voting record. The fact is that John Kerry voted to outlaw semi-automatic guns and not just once, but nine times. John Kerry, along with his friend Ted Kennedy, voted to outlaw common ammunition used by hunters. John Kerry voted more than once to hold gun manufacturing companies liable if a crime occurs with their gun (can I sue a car company for making the car that a felon uses to commit a crime?) John Kerry voted to make it illegal to sell your gun to another individual at a gun show. John Kerry voted to put you in prison for up to a year along with a $10,000 fine if a juvenile steals your gun and simply displays it in a public place (again would you want to be held responsible if a kid stole your car?)
John Kerry voted to outlaw pistol grips on shotguns, as if how you hold a gun makes you kill people. John Kerry voted for the Brady Bill which didn't have any effect on the gun crime rate at all and since it was lifted continues to be of no effect.
John Kerry is a paid representative of the people and yet he missed 40 straight votes before finally coming back to do his job and vote to outlaw my semi-auto .22 rifle, the same gun I use to hunt squirrels (where I come from, attendance like that would get you fired not promoted to president of the company).
The constitution guarantees the rights of all Americans to bear arms because if we see fit we can rise up and overthrow our government if it gets out of hand. Now I'm not encouraging taking over the government, I'm just saying if we somehow elected a Hitler-type president you can bet that myself and others would rise up and take this country back. The book of Revelation tells us that Christians will be killed for their beliefs in the end times. I know I would protect my family from ending up in an Auschwitz. But that's hard to do with an air rifle and a sling shot.
John Kerry wants to take away the baby's right to live. John Kerry wants to take away our freedom of speech. And finally, John Kerry wants to take away our constitutional rights. He doesn't care about life, our constitutional freedoms or our American Christian heritage. He will say whatever you want to hear to make you vote for him.
George Bush will vote pro-life, pro-freedom, and pro-constitution. They say George Bush, the "war monger?" I wonder where the United States would be today if other countries would not have sacrificed for us in our fight for freedom and independence. The way I see it, we were given the gift of freedom and we are obligated to give that same gift to others. Viva Iraq!
