So Moses spoke to the people, saying, "Arm some of yourselves for war, and let them go against the Midianites to take vengeance for the LORD on Midian. A thousand from each tribe of all the tribes of Israel you shall send to the war." So there were recruited from the divisions of Israel one thousand from [each] tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

Then Moses sent them to the war, one thousand from [each] tribe; he sent them to the war with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, with the holy articles and the signal trumpets in his hand. And they warred against the Midianites, just as the LORD commanded Moses, and they killed all the males. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. U.S. Base in Israel Now Out-Front

Jerry Golden | www.thegoldenreport.com | 06 December 2005

Back on July 10th I wrote a report on a US Base being built in Israel, A base right in the middle of Israel only 10 minutes from our international airport and right off the new Hi-way #6 that runs from Be'er Sheva to Haifa. At no small risk I might add this investigation was undertaken. That article can be read at this link http://www.thegoldenreport.com/asp/jerrysnewsmanager/anmviewer.asp?a=928

Well today the below article appeared in the Israel Newspapers, this one in the English version of the Jerusalem Post. In fact, today is the big celebration of the grand opening.

There is so much I could say about this base that hasn't been said but most of it would be my guess work and I will spare you that, what I did try to do is give you the facts because I thought it was very important to prophecy and still believe so. One thing you can be certain of, this is still a secret base but because of it's location and now common knowledge they are telling us just what they want us to know nothing more. I can understand that even appreciate it. But, the big question is whose country is this, the sovereign country of Israel or that of the United States. Who runs this land called Israel Ariel Sharon or George Bush?

The below article came out of today’s Jerusalem Post. If you are anything like me, it will pose more questions than it answers. One thing for sure, it vindicated me as to its reality.

Shalom, jerry golden

Wye-era base set to open

by Yaakov Katz

Agreed upon when Israel and the Palestinians were at the height of implementing the Oslo Accords, the Defense Ministry on Tuesday dedicates an ultra modern base financed and largely built for it by the Americans so Israel could more easily quit the West Bank.

The Nachshonim base on the seam-line northeast of Shoham is to serve as a home base and supply depot for a reserve armored division.

Senior Defense Ministry and US officials are expected to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new $125 million base was constructed jointly by Israel and the United States located next to Kibbutz Nachshonim south of Rosh Ha'ayin. The base is also called Nachshonim.

Spread out on 1,700 dunams of rolling scrubland, the bases boasts 23,000 sq. m. of constructed space in some 210 buildings.

Over 23 km. of roads were paved on the base. It includes rifle ranges, gymnasiums, weight rooms, classrooms, a synagogue, obstacle course and clubhouses. It also has mess halls, barracks and administration buildings, helipad, clinic and a power station.

But the largest investment was in its logistical center for the divisional forces that include 10 separate company staging areas. It is here that, in an emergency, the division will report to be equipped and outfit their tanks for battle.

"The facility provides the IDF with a location for storing military equipment for decades," a US embassy statement said. "With specialized storage units to control humidity and dust levels, the base will store supplies, vehicles and other equipment that artillery, infantry and armored brigades will need during a call up."

It is the third and largest in a series of bases the Americans agreed to build as part of the Wye River Memorandum. That agreement, made when Binyamin Netanyahyu was prime minister and Yitzhak Mordecahi was his defense minister, obligated Israel to relocate its military facilities from the West Bank. At least $266 million had been earmarked for this out of US aid to Israel.

Other bases completed as part of the Wye memorandum were the Shomera paratrooper training base and the Regavim base.

The main contractor for the construction job was the US Army Corps of Engineers, which subcontracted to local companies. It was designed and planned by the IDF and the Ministry of Defense's construction department.

US Ambassador to Israel Richard H. Jones is expected to attend the opening, and Col. Margaret Burcham, commander of the Europe District for the US Army Corps of Engineers is expected to make an address.

Also on hand will be Jacob Toren, director-general of the Ministry of Defense as well as IDF brass.

The US Army Corps of Engineers constructed the Uvda air base near Eilat and the Ramon base as part of the Camp David Accords with Egypt.
