Dear Mr. Drosnin,

I write you urgently about your book, The Bible Code. Please pass this letter on to Eli Rips and whoever you think can use it.

You are a great writer! I even read your book on Howard Hughes which shed new light on him, actually solving the mystery about him. Now we know.

Now about the greatest mystery — the inherent code and computer program you found in the Old Testament canonical books in the Hebrew. What can I offer you? If you cannot wait, go to points # 4, 6, and 8.

I'm a Christian Bible College graduate and a career military man (U.S. Army and Marine Corps). I know these two fields better than anything else. I am also Jewish from my mother's side of the family — her father was a rabbi in Israel when he died, and I've visited Israel twice. I am 100% on the side of God's chosen people as well as the just-shall-be-saved-by-grace-through-faith of the Martin Luther-type persuasion. I have some ideas that I urge you to consider and explore.

1.) What you revealed in your book.

I don't believe you or your associates showed every topic you looked up in the book by decoding. I'm sure there are some even more disturbing, sensitive areas you have not put into print — rightly so. There are a whole bunch of topics we need to know about. Can you look up these words? I've listed these areas in an enclosure. If the Almighty has made the Bible into a computer with inter-active capability its brilliant to say the least of him and for you to spot this. More on this later.

2.) Your view of Armageddon.

Let me blunt.....READ REVELATION. Armageddon is NOT the end of the world. Yes, millions will die but God himself will return and set things in order. In fact that is the whole point of the time of Jacob's trouble which is a 7-year period called the Great Tribulation. This is plain for anyone to see without even having to be a believer. So why in the book do you equate nuclear war with the extinction of mankind? You seem to be taking the popular man-on-the-street fatalistic view here. I want to stop nuclear war just as much as you do, and have concrete ideas to help this also in the enclosures.

You discount the quote made by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospels by saying: This generation shall not pass till all is fulfilled as the source of the mass belief of the early church that the end was near, that of course did not occur. But you overlook the CONTEXT of what Christ was saying when he made that statement; he was talking about the FIG TREE which is ISRAEL being reborn THEN (1948 A.D.) he started talking about THIS GENERATION shall not pass till all be fulfilled...etc. He was talking about the end times, not the time he walked among men as a man here on the earth. You don't have to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ here. We are just trying to solve a mystery. Keeping ALL options open.

3.) You discount the encoder as being God because you reason he simply could prevent all these terrible things from happening.

True--only if God were to say the time was up for mankind — which it may well be coming sooner than you think. Taking the Bible as it says about itself, in the uncoded plain text, God is giving man a chance to come to him. The Star of David on the flag of Israel represents two triangles; man reaching up to God : Body, Soul, Spirit, and God reaching down to man: Father, Son, Holy Ghost. When its over......... its over......JUDGMENT TIME. So......

God puts up with the horrors of this world to give us maximum opportunity to come to him. However when the ratio of good people to bad reaches a certain amount (refer to Abraham asking God peradventure.....# are righteous in Sodom-Gomorrah in Genesis) he will pull the good people out and destroy the remaining bad.

However, God's patience is wearing thin, and if the Biblical generation of 40-70 years is added to the rebirth of Israel (1948) time may indeed be running out for us to come to God easily. During the Great Tribulation, those that chose to stand by God will pay for it by losing their lives by execution-torture.

We must remember people have been brutally tortured to death throughout history, we have had world wars, none of these things by themselves mean its the Great Tribulation; the Great Tribulation is started when God decides, and the first 3 and a half years are PEACEFUL, so...we may even be in the first half of the Great Tribulation NOW. This is Daniel's 70th week in Old Testament Prophesy, too.

4.) An idea to detect culprits before the event.

You describe how you found Rabin that he would be assassinated, but didn't know to look up Amir until after the event. Why not create a computer program to check the ZONE around the key words you found for ANY words that are around it. Surely any words or names from both a Hebrew-English dictionary would have to be significant and not be there by chance. Its like watching a movie, no scene you see is without some meaning to the plot due to the fact the movie's time is limited. In the case of the Bible decoded, it only has the immediate matrix in front of you to offer any other clues to help us. That is if an easy-to-find clue is intended.

Then all the words found around the key words found could be free-associated towards the key word(s) to determine meanings and relevancy. For example, If you saw the name BIBI and then Kalishnakov, you'd know someone is going to shoot at him with an Avromat Kalishnikov Machine pistol (AKM) or popularly known as AK-47 7.62mm Assault Rifle.

I'd like to see all the words around the Kennedy brothers since Oswald and Sirhan were just the scapegoats — the real shooters are still at large and undetermined. JFK was shot by at least 3 men, probably CIA contract snipers. RFK was killed at point blank range by the security guard. There are more bullets in the room and bystanders, RFK himself than there were in Sirhan's gun! Or must we learn Hebrew and do it ourselves by scanning your book? If you told me the words you detected I could recognize their relevance to the murders.

5.) Very intriguing is your discussion of the 5th Dimension as an accepted fact of reality, though not defined as of yet by scientists.

This would play a key role in explaining UFO phenomena if you compare this to the writings of retired Army Colonel Philip Corso in his book, also by Simon and Schuster, THE DAY AFTER ROSWELL. The Pentagon couldn't explain why the so-called aliens had no food or waste provisions on the so-called craft they captured. In my letter to Mr. Corso, I offer the theory that the whole thing is a TROJAN HORSE — a hoax but not of the human variety. I'm not sure what your opinion is of the UFO situation but I offer these things as an additional enclosure. Mathew 24:24 and Luke 21:11 warn us specifically about these false signs from the heavens.

6.) Have you tried your decoding technique on THE ENTIRE BIBLE, old and new testaments?

Going out on a limb again here, it's my contention that the new testament is also canonical as the Massoretic Text you analyzed, but only what is found in the King James Bible. The newer versions use corrupted manuscripts. The KJB is uniquely prominent in world history being the only Bible a GOVERNMENT has actually authorized and its role in human history is not just an accident. If you look at the early churches described in the first chapters in the book of Revelation, you will note that they are also describing the state of the Church — church ages as time goes on. The faith as you can see weakens as time passes....logically you would figure at the very end the faith would be weakest — which it is...but just before the present Laodicean Church age comes up 0151 the Church GETS STRONGER. This is odd and runs counter to human nature. The only explanation for the Philadelphian Church age being stronger (brotherly love) is the publishing and mass distribution of the KJB which coupled with an age of untold enlightenment and reformation thought that gave us our current industrial and information ages. You can credit the Bible for the impetus for Guttenberg to make the first printing press.

So I conjecture that the KJB in its Koine Greek and/or in the plain English has a code, also worth looking at. But you must used the Received Text of the KJB to search for this not the gnostic codex's the Vatican and company prefers. If you use the wrong New Testament texts there would be at best only fragments of a code since they only contain parts of the word or God, though they may even show nothing. This is spiritual warfare of the highest stakes, and the forces of evil play for keeps to include cranking out false bibles — the warning at the end of the book of Revelation applies here.

7.) Do you have an email address, regular mail address, phone # etc. for Mr. Harold Gans, the NSA code breaker?

I'd like to pass everything I've said to you on to him, also.

8.) How'd he do that?

How did the encoder place such enormous amount of material into a physical, 3 dimensional document? I think I have an answer here.

First let me describe how I tried to make a crossword puzzle one day. I wanted to make an AIRBORNE crossword puzzle using the graphic illustration of a puzzle that already existed. I wanted to put in words like PARATROOPER, ASSAULT RIFLE, HERCULES, GAVIN, RIDGEWAY etc. When the time came to fit these words into what I had to work with it became exceedingly difficult, in fact impossible — there simply were not enough words about the Airborne commonly known to fit into the spaces I needed to fit them into. In your mathematical probabilities you always state the chances are 1 in a million, or 10,000 etc. for various tasks. This in a way is wrong. If there is no round pegs that exist to fit in a round hole, the odds are ZERO in an infinity of tries. The Newtonian Law of cause-effect proves this. No cause, no effect. This was the state of reality that day — a narrow subject like the Airborne with narrow options just wasn't up to the task of fitting into a dissimilar matrix. I would have to start from scratch and create the matrix graphic to work around my words.

Thus, whoever encoded the Bible would have it fairly easy going in the beginning encoding the first messages since he'd have the entire Bible to do so. But.....as he starts to get cramped with messages, he'd reach a point where he'd be jammed to fit his words in without disrupting previous messages like I was in my Airborne crossword puzzle. For awhile, he could change the words of his message topic, using say BIBI instead of Netanyahu etc. but even this would become exhausted because after all the Bible is a finite document. So how did he do it?

Hold on.

The writer of the Bible (God) did it by WRITING THE BOOK FIRST WITH THE CODE ALREADY CONTAINED INSIDE IT. No planet earth, no Milky Way Galaxy, no Universe. Just him and the Bible (book).

Just like me and my Airborne crossword puzzle, he would have to start with all his coded messages first, then write the Bible around them, THEN make REALITY — the events of the universe comply to these writings. We are looking at the encoding wrong — as if the encoder had to jam his messages in after the fact of the Bible's text, getting the cart before the horse. God doesn't have to do this — he knows the past, present and future, and knew this by writing the book, code in place FIRST. This is in itself a message I believe he is trying to pass on to us — that he is indeed in control of everything. Disturbing, but a very good possibility.

In fact, this is EXACTLY what the BIBLE SAYS ABOUT ITSELF!

John 1:1: "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD and the WORD was GOD......"

Look throughout the Bible; it states that it PRE-EXISTED before there was a creation.

In the Psalms: "Forever O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven...."

I know this is hard to swallow but think about it.

Ever wonder why the Bible sometimes rambles on about stuff like genealogies etc.? No doubt there is a hidden agenda here — this is to provide the letters for the hidden code to work to bring us the hidden messages. It all makes sense when you think about it.

SUMMARY-CONCLUSION

In your book you quote Eli Rips saying we should look at the Bible code in 3 dimensions but can't.

Why not run matrixes of 7 rows and overlap them 7 at a time using a graphics program? God's number of perfection is 7....just a stab at it. Then look through all 7 layers one Hebrew letter at a time to see if there is a word there? That's 3 dimensions.

Before I upset you further I'll stop for now. I do recommend that you read Graham Hancocks Fingerprints of the Gods....in his book he describes how we have physical evidences that human civilizations were very advanced from the very beginning — extremely ancient societies knew that the earth was round, how to build enormous buildings, map the earth accurately, navigate by the stars etc. that could only have happened IF SOMEONE TOLD THEM THIS STUFF in the beginning. In your book your infer that God only communicated to man primarily through Moses at the burning bush — not so. God spoke directly to Adam and Eve about the earth and how they were to manage it. This knowledge of the FIRST TIME, mysterious, shrouded and passed on by deliberate fairy tales and myths so disasters did not lose these FINGERPRINTS is the same thing as the Jewish people copying the Bible religiously through the ages. Just as you said, we're talking about CONTACT with a supernatural alien life form via ancient writings, myths and monuments in order to preserve them through long periods of time. After the flood, man had to start all over again, as he did after the great plagues in Europe etc. I urge you to read his book. I wrote a letter to him offering a Judaeo-Christian explanation, but got no response from him.

ENCLOSURE #1

QUESTIONS TO SEEK ANSWERS IN THE DECODED BIBLE

Hold on to your boot straps here, it's going to get ugly. Hold on, and keep your mind open here.

1. The Lord Jesus Christ.

OK. Assuming the whole Bible is true, does the decoded version say he came in the flesh and walked among men. The Bible in the plain text tells us to check the spirits with this question. If we get a wrong answer something is really wrong here.

2. The Anti-Christ, Man of Sin, Son of Perdition, The Pope, Vatican, Rome.

These are the bad guys I'm afraid. It would help to know what they are going to do next.

3. UFOs, Flying Saucers, ETs, Aliens, Space ships, demons, Satan, Lucifer.

Scary stuff but you need to inquire.

4. Darwin, Evolution, Big-Bang theory, Black holes, the Flood.

Evolution didn't happen so any answers that evolution took place at all are to be suspicious.

5. Noah's Ark, Ark of the Covenant, Elijah, Noah, Moses, Rapture, Second Coming Apostles Paul and Peter, Daniel, the Sphinx, Great Pyramids.

• Where is the Ark?
• Where did Elijah and Enoch go? (They didn't die)
• What did Noah and his sons do after the flood?
• Who built the Sphinx (it wasn't Egypt!) the Pyramids?
• Will there be a rapture of the Church?
• The great falling away.....Laodicean Church age...details?
• King James Bible

6. Look up the world's major (FALSE) religions for a rendering.

• Islam?
• Mohammed?
• Buddha?
• Confucius?
• Taze Russel?
• Joseph Smith?

7. World Governments?

• USA?
• Russia?
• England?
• Israel? Yes-how many times mentioned? What predictions?
