Biblical Divine Healing vs. Fake, Demonic Healing

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23

Justin Peters: The Hurt of Healing

This sermon "The Hurt of Healing" given by Justin Peters is so execellent with explaining what the Bible says regarding healing. Do not we all desire to be healed and to live in perfect health?

For years I was caught up in the prosperity and word of faith gospels never realizing how many lies I was swallowing. All of my life I was rarely ever ill until later in life when I faced near death and then struggled for many, many years with severe illness. And just like the woman in the Bible with the issue of blood (Matthew 9:20-22Bible quote(verse 20) And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind [him], and touched the hem of his garment:

(verse 21) For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

(verse 22) But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.Matthew 9 verses 20-22
, Mark 5:25-34Bible quote(verse 25) And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

(verse 26) And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

(verse 27) When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. (verse 28) For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

(verse 29) And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in [her] body that she was healed of that plague.

(verse 30) And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

(verse 31) And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

(verse 32) And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

(verse 33) But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

(verse 34) And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.Mark 5 verses 25-34
, Luke 8:43-47Bible quote(verse 43) And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

(verse 44) Came behind [him], and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

(verse 45) And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press [thee], and sayest thou, Who touched me?

(verse 46) And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

(verse 47) And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.Luke 8 verses 43-47
) I kept going to the Lord expecting to be healed. Finally one day I was in the service of one of these false prophets prophesying a bag of baloney about giving a large sum of money to their ministry and people would be healed of sickness and other happy things. I managed to convince myself that if this was all the Lord wanted from me was to test me and my willingness to let go of my money then I would do it. Well, guess what happened? The false prophet prophesied more lies to me, told me I was getting well, and then he had me arrested after taking a whole lot of money from me. Things became far worse before they got better.

The Lord will never ask us to give all of our money to anyone in order to be healed. Sometimes physical ailments can come naturally because of our sin. Sometimes we can become ill through no fault of our own. Or sometimes it is the Devil attacking us in an effort to see if we will curse God and turn away from the Lord. God may be allowing the physical ailments in order to test us, or to make us stronger. Or we may never know why we go through so many physical problems until we leave this earth, but it is important to realize that just because we go through physical problems or even have them for all of our days on this earth it does not mean we are not Christians, or not saved, or not children of God, or not because we do not have enough faith. Mainstream Christianity is a counterfeit gospel initiated and run by Satan himself to deceive masses of people into believing lies and turn people away from the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Do not allow yourself to fall prey to the lies these counterfeits chant.

Sandy Simpson writes an excellent article about the differences between real healings and fake/demonic ones. Please read Biblical Divine Healing Versus Other Types of Healing.

Paranormal/Demonic Healing

Writer: Sandy Simpson | 25 January 2002 | www.deceptioninthechurch.com/divinehealing.html

Paranormal/Demonic Healing has been in existence in the world practically since the creation. It is the oldest healing art. But the problem with this type of healing is that it is a

(1) lying wonder and

(2) opens the door to demonic influence, demonization, even possession.

A lying wonder is not necessarily a false wonder or false miracle, but it is, more importantly, a miracle claimed to be from God but whose source is really from the devil. It is important to understand that actual healing can come from a lying wonder. But it is a type of healing that leads the person into bondage to the enemy. It is often used to confirm the alleged power of an individual, but behind it come the deceptions of the enemy. It's like a fish trap. The bait in the trap is real food and will nourish the fish that eats is, but after he is finished he is inside of a trap, whether or not he realizes it. There is much evidence also that suggests that this type of healing is a shell game of the enemy. By that I mean that the original condition was caused by the enemy, then when it is brought to a faith healer, witch doctor or shaman, the enemy cleverly lifts that condition only to replace it with other forms of demonization. This type of healing also, in many documented cases, may eventually lead to suicide and death. We must also remember that lying begets lying. People who get this kind of healing become part of the deception themselves, in turn deceiving others. It is an insidious form of healing that must be avoided at all costs.

(a) Immediate to slow

This type of healing can be immediate to slow. I have seen documentary evidence of miraculous Paranormal/Demonic Healings at the hands of shaman (including Christian "faith healers"). The length of the problem all depends on what the enemy wants to accomplish with the healing.
